E-40 wanted a select group of the Bay Area children to start the school year off right, so he donated over $25,000 worth of supplies to students at Franklin Middle School, where he once attended.
When 40 Water heard his old middle school lost a grant, which would’ve provided money for the supplies for the students, he didn’t hesitate to act.
“Kids are our future and we must invest in them,” E-40 told NBC. “It’s good to be involved in your community. If you’re in a position to help someone, I think you should do it. I’m playing my position.”
