Kesha Thanks Lady Gaga, VP Joe Biden For Oscar Tribute

After Lady Gaga’s moving Oscar performance of a song dedicated to victims of rape and abuse, Kesha took to Instagram to publicly thank the pop singer–and Vice President Joe Biden, who introduced Gaga with his own powerful speech in support of victims–for their stance.

“Thank u @ladygaga and @vp for bringing attention to sexual assault at the oscars,“ she wrote below a close-up of her face, her hair in two braids. “It hit very close to my heart for obvious reasons. #ItsOnUs.“ Kesha is currently embroiled in a legal battle with producer Dr. Luke, whom she’s accused of drugging and sexually assaulting her.
