Seahawks & Patriots Headed to Super Bowl XLIX in AZ!

The Seattle Seahawks clenched the NFC Championship title and are headed to the Super Bowl for the second year in a row after pulling off an incredible comeback victory over the Green Bay Packers. After being outplayed by the Packers for the majority of the game and ending halftime behind 0-16, the Seahawks rallied in the fourth quarter for three touchdowns — including a fake field goal-turned-touchdown thrown by holder Jon Ryan — and a two-point conversion. While the Packers scored a field goal in the last seconds to tie the game at 22, the Seahawks responded during the first possession of overtime with a game-ending touchdown by wide receiver Jermaine Kearse.

The New England Patriots will face the Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX on February 1 after defeating the Indianapolis Colts 45-7 in the AFC Championship on Sunday. The Patriots’ domination included quarterback Tom Brady throwing for three touchdowns and running back LeGarrette Blount running 30 times for 148 yards and three scores before halftime. Brady finished the game with 23 of 35 passes for 226 yards before being replaced by Jimmy Garoppolo with 3:20 left. Meanwhile, Colts quarterback Andrew Luck had the worst game of his three-year career by completing just 12 of 33 passes for 126 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions.
