JWD THUMB

Your Quick & Simple Review: “Jurassic World: Dominion”

Well, they said this will be the final film of the Jurassic World series.  Which is what I think most of us thought with the last Jurassic Park film too.  But Hollywood is about money, and when you have a cash cow still making them dollars, the movies tend to find their way back on screen.  Which is what I think the Jurassic World series is… a money grab.

Although I really did like the first JW movie, it quickly went downhill with the Fallen Kingdom and now they’re trying to make things good with Dominion.   Granted, it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either.  I did like seeing the original cast come back.  As well as all the easter eggs from the JP series.  But with parallel stories goin at the same time, I think I would have been happier just watching the original 3’s story.  That part was pretty much the only real enjoyable thing about this one.

What also didn’t help it, was some bad CGI.  There were times that you could really tell it was a green screen scene.   Taking away the believability of the scene.

The only other saving grace of this film was the creation of some of the new dinosaurs.   New creatures add a bit more excitement cause you wanna see what they’re about and what creatures they’re stronger than.

Dominion has its moments.  It just didn’t have the suspense and thrills I was hoping for to wrap up the series.
